"Wet areas get Villaboard, everywhere else standard Gyprock."
Any room that gets wet: bathroom, ensuite, laundry, toilet, and the splashback zone of a kitchen. Wet areas have their own rules in the NCC and AS 3740 for waterproofing, falls, and the type of board and tile used. "Wet area board" is the water-resistant plasterboard.
