How We Helped Dubois Navigate a Challenging Triangle Block
The Situation
The Dubois family felt overwhelmed by display home options, even at higher-end builders. An architect seemed too expensive, but they needed something more than a standard project home for their challenging triangle-shaped block.
The Challenge
The unusual block shape meant standard plans wouldn't work. One builder insisted on a larger setback than necessary, which would have compromised the design. They needed someone in their corner who understood both design and council requirements.
Our Approach
We helped design a home that worked with the triangle block, maximising the usable space. When the builder pushed for a larger setback, we challenged it and successfully got the closer setback approved through council.
The Result
The Dubois family got a custom-feeling home at a project home price, with a better setback than the builder thought possible. The design makes the most of their unique block.
