Sarking explained in detail
The layer of material applied to the underside of a roof or wall that provides an additional layer of insulation and protection from the elements. Made from waterproof and breathable materials, such as a synthetic or natural membrane. Sarking is required under metal roofing in most Australian climates to prevent condensation.
