Principal Certifying Authorities (PCAs) explained in detail
Individuals or organisations authorised by state governments in Australia to certify that a building or development complies with the relevant building codes and regulations. PCAs are responsible for issuing Occupation Certificates, which are required before a building can be occupied. Also known as Building Surveyors or Building Certifiers depending on the state.
