Six things to test before you leave a display
Most Melbourne displays open Sat, Sun and Wed - allow 90 minutes each.
- 1Open and close every internal door - sagging hinges reveal poor stud fixing.
- 2Ask the base-plan ceiling height (2.44m vs 2.55m vs 2.7m). Displays are almost always upgraded.
- 3Ask which price-board items are "promotional" vs genuinely "included".
- 4Photograph the electrical layout - points and data are a top variation-cost source.
- 5Get the base-plan specification in writing before a second visit. The spec, not the display, is what you buy.
- 6Confirm the builder is on the VBA register and DBI can be issued in their name for your contract price.
